On the appearance displays deep copper-amber with rich golden glints. The whiskey coats the glass with thick, slow-moving legs, hinting at a full-bodied richness and higher proof. On the nose it is bold and expressive. Opens with layers of toasted oak, burnt caramel, and sweet vanilla bean. There's a deeper, more robust intensity compared to the regular No. 7, with secondary notes of ripe banana, charred corn husk, leather, and dried fruits. A hint of baking spice, particularly nutmeg and cinnamon, rounds out the aromatic complexity. The mouthfeel is viscous and robust, delivering a more concentrated flavor thanks to the single-barrel aging and higher ABV (typically around 47%). Upfront, you’re met with dark toffee, vanilla, and spiced oak, followed by ripe banana bread, roasted nuts, and smoky maple char. There's a pleasantly dry, tannic edge from the barrel that gives structure and gravitas. The finish is long, warming, and layered. Notes of oak, peppery spice, and lingering sweet molasses trail off gracefully, leaving behind a satisfying dry spice and barrel-char warmth
