Lively, coastal, and full of Celtic flair, the Armorik 8 Year Old from That Boutique-y Whisky Company showcases the expressive character of France’s Warenghem Distillery. Matured in the maritime climate of Brittany, this French single malt offers a fusion of orchard fruit, toasted malt, and saline spice, balancing old-world elegance with modern energy. The nose opens with bright aromas of green apple, lemon zest, and vanilla cream, layered over malted barley, light oak, and a gentle breeze of sea air. Hints of honeycomb, dried grass, and a wisp of minerality lend it a distinctly coastal identity. On the palate, it's medium-bodied and gently oily, revealing flavours of pear tart, white chocolate, and light ginger spice. Mid-palate tones of brioche, fennel seed, and toasted almond emerge, giving it warmth and texture. The French oak influence may show through as herbal tannin or floral spice.
