The nose bursts with powerful aromas of molasses, toasted pecan, and oak-charred vanilla. There’s a strong presence of dark chocolate, maple syrup, and roasted espresso beans, wrapped in spicy warmth and a smoky undertone—reminiscent of barbecue smoke, cracked black pepper, and cayenne caramel. On the palate, it’s dense, oily, and full-bodied. Waves of burnt toffee, fig jam, cinnamon bark, and leather are immediately apparent, followed by layers of charred oak, brown butter, and nutmeg. Despite its youth, it’s shockingly rounded and expressive, with bold tannins and a heavy, dessert-like weight. Notes of mesquite smoke and dark stone fruit linger underneath. The finish is long, gripping, and spicy—leaving behind a trail of molasses cake, cocoa nibs, and smouldering oak embers.
