The nose is bright and malty, offering a lively bouquet of warm cereal mash, honeyed granola, and fresh peaches, with undertones of toasted cashew and lemon zest. There's a light yeasty note reminiscent of a craft ale, paired with hints of vanilla bean and fresh-cut grass. A gentle trace of baking spice—cinnamon and clove—adds aromatic lift. The palate is surprisingly rich and creamy for its youth, leading with sweet malt, caramelized sugar, and poached pear. Waves of citrus—grapefruit oil and orange peel—bring freshness, while toasted oak and a faint herbal bitterness provide structure. The American new oak influence may hint at light vanilla and roasted nuts without overpowering the malt's clarity. The finish is medium in length, warming and clean, with lingering notes of malted barley, candied ginger, and faint chamomile tea.
