The Corowa 4 Year Old opens with a vibrant and malty nose that showcases both youthful energy and craft-driven depth. The first aromas are warm and cereal-forward—golden barley, Weet-Bix, and honey porridge—supported by ripe banana, vanilla custard, and a hint of citrus zest. There’s a faint grassy undertone that brings freshness, alongside buttery oak and milk chocolate. On the palate, this Australian single malt is creamy, approachable, and full of character. Flavors of malted biscuit, caramel fudge, and baked apples dominate the opening. Mid-palate brings soft oak tannins, hints of clove, nutmeg, and a faint touch of dried apricot. There's a waxy texture that gives it weight, despite its youthful age. The finish is medium in length, gently tapering with notes of malt loaf, vanilla bean, and a light herbal dryness—evocative of eucalyptus and toasted hay.
