The nose is inviting and juicy, brimming with stewed apples, ripe pears, and honeycomb, wrapped in a warm embrace of cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla bean. There’s a gentle nuttiness—almond or hazelnut praline—alongside hints of raisin bread and buttery shortbread. On the palate, it’s lively and layered. Flavours of baked peach, sultana, and marmalade lead into a swirl of toffee, malt loaf, and subtle oak spice. While youthful in energy, the mouthfeel is silky, and the sweetness is balanced by a crisp edge of dry sherry, ginger snap, and apple peel. The finish is medium-long, gently spiced and warming, leaving behind notes of caramelised sugar, soft baking spices, and orchard fruit skins.
