The nose is bright and inviting, opening with a bouquet of green apples, honeyed pear, and white peach, followed by soft notes of vanilla custard, lemon zest, and fresh-cut grass. A floral lift of chamomile, honeysuckle, and faint clover adds freshness, while a touch of marzipan and biscuit suggests light oak influence. The palate is smooth and fruit-forward, carrying classic Irish malt characteristics. Flavours of ripe orchard fruit, barley sugar, and orange blossom honey are complemented by hints of vanilla cream, soft spice (white pepper, nutmeg), and almond. The triple-distilled spirit creates a silky, almost buttery texture, balanced with just enough oak tannin to provide structure. The finish is clean and medium-long, with lingering notes of poached pear, lemon curd, malted milk biscuit, and a whisper of ginger warmth.
