The nose is elegant and mellow, opening with soft aromas of orchard fruits—baked apple, poached pear, and dried apricot—gently layered over honeycomb, marzipan, and chamomile tea. There’s a delicate waxiness reminiscent of old highland malts, with background hints of polished oak, lemon balm, and white flowers. On the palate, it glides in with a velvety, almost creamy texture. Rich flavors of vanilla custard, almond nougat, and stewed peaches are balanced by light oak spice, citrus peel, and hints of butterscotch. With time, subtle notes of hazelnut, green tea, and dried herbs begin to emerge, revealing the whisky’s graceful maturity and complexity. The finish is long, warming, and harmonious—fading slowly with echoes of honeyed malt, dried citrus, and gentle wood tannin, wrapped in a soft mineral touch that speaks to the coastal Mull origin.
