The nose opens with a fusion of baked orchard fruits, vanilla cream, and light wood smoke, layered with notes of toffee, dried lingonberry, and a hint of pine resin. There’s a herbal-fresh undertone — think juniper, anise, and mint tea — giving it a distinctly Scandinavian twist. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and structured, offering flavours of caramelised apple, gingerbread spice, and malted biscuit, followed by soft notes of oak shavings, white pepper, and faint tobacco leaf. Some batches may carry a whisper of peat smoke or Swedish oak spice, depending on cask influence. The finish is warming and gently drying, with lingering impressions of spiced vanilla, apple peel, and toasted herbs.
