Flavours of rye bread, clove, ginger root, and cinnamon stick hit first, backed by a subtle sweetness of brown sugar and burnt toffee. The texture is bold and slightly grainy, with youthful heat and a gripping dryness from the oak. Herbal notes of eucalyptus, thyme, and citrus zest add sharpness and lift. The finish is medium in length, dry and zesty—leaving behind lingering notes of white pepper, toasted grain, lemon peel, and a final flash of minty heat.
