The nose is elegant and gently tropical. It opens with notes of dried mango, apricot, and golden raisin, wrapped in soft layers of honeycomb, almond pastry, and polished oak. Hints of vanilla bean, floral heather, and old leather give it the refined complexity of a long-aged dram, with just a whisper of distant smoke or coastal breeze in the background. On the palate, the whisky is smooth, rich, and contemplative. Flavours of ripe orchard fruit, vanilla cream, and barley sugar are balanced by dry spice, toasted coconut, and herbal tea. The oak is integrated and mature, offering hints of cedarwood, nutmeg, and light tobacco. There’s a waxy, almost old-school Highland-style mouthfeel that reflects its traditional distillation. The finish is long and mellow—lingering with notes of faded tropical fruit, honeyed malt, soft leather, and a touch of spice and dry earth, slowly fading into a warm, nostalgic glow.
